The Artist
Hi, I’m Robin! If you ask anyone who knows me, they’d probably joke that I was born with a pencil in my hand. While that’s not technically true, I’ve been drawing and creating for as long as I can remember.
I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from VCU, but let’s be real—what really matters is passion. And creating art? That’s my heart and soul.
For nearly two decades, I’ve been a professional photographer, which has been my main focus. But when I moved to Bellingham, WA, in 2021, life took an exciting turn.
In 2022, I started working with a local watercolor artist in what felt like an informal apprenticeship. That experience sparked an unstoppable love for watercolor, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Fast forward to now: I teach watercolor classes for both beginners and advanced students here in Bellingham, and I’ve even started offering private lessons.
It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m thrilled to share it with you!
In-Person Classes
I currently teach group watercolor classes at Bellingham ART. These classes typically take place in the winter, spring, and fall in Bellingham, WA. Classes range from beginner level (little to no experience) to advanced level. There are 10-12 students per class and these classes fill up FAST! Regardless of your skill level, each student is required to take the beginning level class. To check availability and/or get on a wait list, visit the Bellingham ART website.
Sip & Paint
Join one of my scheduled Sip and Paint events or host a private session for your group—it’s a fun and relaxed way to explore watercolor!
Whether you’re in joining one of my planned Sip and Paint or events or planning a get-together with friends, a team-building event with coworkers, or a creative family outing, I offer Sip and Paint classes at Her Connection Hub in Downtown Bellingham, WA.
Pricing varies based on group size, with a minimum of six participants required to book. For details and availability, send me a message—I’d love to chat and help you plan the perfect event!
*Can be done virtually via Zoom, if needed. I can also come to you depending on the space you have available.
Private Lessons
My private, in-person one-on-one classes come in two different options. All materials are provided and included in the price. I use Arches 140lb watercolor paper and Daniel Smith paints. All you have to do is show up!
Single Classes
This is a 2 hour, one time, class. You will work one-on-one with Robin to cover ONE subject matter and complete one finished painting by the end of your session. This can be scheduled on a day and time that works for you.

4 Pack of Classes
This is a set of four 90 minute classes. You will work one-on-one with Robin to cover MULTIPLE subject matters over the course of 4 classes. You can choose to meet once a week, once a month, or at a custom set of times. You should expect to complete 2-4 finished paintings with this option.

Online Classes

This is a 4 pack of private, one-on-one sessions that will be scheduled in 90 minute blocks of time over Zoom. We will complete 2-4 finished pieces.
You will be given a small supply list ranging from middle to top-tier art supply options that you may choose from, which will be an additional cost (starting around $50). Online sessions are sold in packs to maximize your supply purchase, which breaks down to around $15/class session
If you would like a friend or two to join you, a discount will be applied for each additional participant you add at checkout and you can share the cost of materials.
