How to Paint a Realistic Barn Owl | Complete Watercolor Workshop Video
From an actual in-person watercolor workshop where I taught people how to paint a barn owl - including students who had never picked up a brush before. They all ended up with paintings they loved.

Learn how to incorporate pen and ink with your watercolor without outlining EVERY single line. This workshop is all about the art of suggestion when it comes to ink and watercolor. We will cover wet on wet, lifting out paint, adding texture, and building layers.
This is from a workshop I taught on painting Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock - one of the most iconic coastal scenes. We covered wet on wet, wet on dry, layering, lifting out paint, dry brushing, and reflection. Some students were brand new and they all created paintings they were proud of.
Workshop FAQ

All materials will be provided. We will use Arches watercolor paper. Cotman watercolor paint will be provided, and in order to keep the workshop consistent, it is not recommended that participants bring any materials other than their own brushes if they wish. Brushes will be provided in an assortment of sizes, so you are not expected to bring any materials.

Refunds for the in-person workshop will only be provided if someone from the waitlist books your spot. If refunded, you'll receive your payment minus a $25 processing fee and minus the value of any digital content included in your package. No refunds for video-only purchases. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop date.

There will be a short snack/stretch break around noon. Snacks and beverages will not be provided.

There is free parking on site. It is suggested that participants arrive 15 minutes early to get settled in.

Participants will not be filmed or have audio captured during the workshop. Video will be professionally edited and trimmed down to remove empty space. Video will not be shared on YouTube, nor will it be available to the public without purchase.
